Section Title

With the use of traditional elements used in garments in the Wixárika culture: feathers, embroidery, beading. We aim to introduce the importance of keeping traditions and stories alive through art and garments in our collection.

Huichol art is highly recognized throughout Mexico, but not everyone recognizes its roots and its meaning. Therefore, throughout this collection, the designer wanted to emphasize the use of beadwork and yarn paintings in the garments through knits and embroidery, to represent this culture’s rich cosmogony.

Not only was the designer inspired by their religious and mythical motifs but also the way the culture showcases and combines vibrant colors in both art and garments. We can see this being brought out in the collection through styling and the use of accessories.
